Sunday marks another meeting of The Battle of Ohio when the Cincinnati Bengals take on the Cleveland Browns to close out the 2025 season, and per the team\u2019s injury report, they could be down a few players.<\/p>\n
Running back Chase Brown (illness) was out for the second straight practice. The illness Brown is dealing with hasn\u2019t been specified, and he could still play on Sunday. If he can\u2019t go, look for Samaje Perine and rookie Tahj Brooks to man the backfield.<\/p>\n
Defensive end Joseph Ossai (ankle) also missed another practice, and with him missing Week 17, it is looking like his 2025 season may be over, opening the door for more snaps for rookie Shemar Stewart. Defensive tackle B.J. Hill (ankle) was out again as well after missing Wednesday.<\/p>\n
Josh Newton (hamstring) was upgraded to a limited participant after missing Wednesday, so he may have a chance to be back in the lineup.<\/p>\n
For Cleveland, standout rookie linebacker Carson Schwesinger (quad, ankle) was out yet again, so they could be without one of their top defenders.<\/p>\n
Both of Cleveland\u2019s top tight ends have missed both practices as well. David Njoku (personal) and Harold Fannin Jr. (groin) could be out of the lineup Sunday. Njoku, however, is a veteran who could play without practicing.<\/p>\n
Guard Teven Jenkins (concussion) was upgraded to a limited participant on Thursday, but he remains in the NFL\u2019s concussion protocol and would still need to be cleared in order to play Sunday.<\/p>\n
