{"id":647005,"date":"2026-01-02T02:21:16","date_gmt":"2026-01-02T02:21:16","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.rawchili.com\/nfl\/647005\/"},"modified":"2026-01-02T02:21:16","modified_gmt":"2026-01-02T02:21:16","slug":"packers-quarterback-jordan-love-wife-expecting-first-child","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.rawchili.com\/nfl\/647005\/","title":{"rendered":"Packers quarterback Jordan Love, wife expecting first child"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>To kick off the new year, Packers quarterback Jordan Love and his wife, Ronika Stone, announced they are expecting their first child together.<\/p>\n<p>The couple announced the news on Thursday in an Instagram post that showed the two holding up sonogram photos of their unborn child, along with a Packers onesie with Love\u2019s name and No. 10 on the back.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cNew year, new addition,\u201d the post\u2019s caption read.<\/p>\n<p>Love and Stone, who is a professional volleyball player, <a href=\"https:\/\/nypost.com\/2025\/06\/30\/sports\/david-bakhtiari-shades-aaron-rodgers-with-jordan-love-wedding-photo\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">got married in June 2025<\/a>, with the two meeting during the quarterback\u2019s rookie season (2021).<\/p>\n<p>The news comes as Love was also cleared from concussion protocol on Thursday, though Green Bay head coach Matt LaFleur has opted to start third-string quarterback Clayton Tune for Sunday\u2019s regular season finale against the Vikings.<\/p>\n<p>LaFleur added that he has no intentions of playing Love against Minnesota, likely to give the former first-round selection some rest ahead of the postseason.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cIf he\u2019s the backup on game day and if something bad happened, then you\u2019ve got not many other options,\u201d LaFleur told reporters when asked about Love\u2019s playing status, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.espn.com\/nfl\/story\/_\/id\/47472533\/jordan-love-clears-protocol-packers-sit-qb-playoffs\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener nofollow\">per ESPN<\/a>. \u201cBut the intent, I would say, is not to play him.\u201d<\/p>\n<p><img style=\"aspect-ratio:1.49926794;display:block\" loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" data-modal-image=\"38074331\" width=\"885\" height=\"590\" src=\"https:\/\/www.rawchili.com\/nfl\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/01\/jordan-love-10-green-bay-115184358.jpg\" alt=\"Jordan Love and Ronika Stone posing at Lambeau Field.\" class=\"wp-image-38074331\"  \/>ordan Love #10 of the Green Bay Packers poses with Ronika Stone prior to the game against the Philadelphia Eagles at Lambeau Field on November 10, 2025 in Green Bay. Getty Images<\/p>\n<p>Love sustained the concussion during Green Bay\u2019s 22-16 Week 16 loss to the Bears, and <a href=\"https:\/\/nypost.com\/2025\/12\/26\/sports\/jordan-love-ruled-out-for-week-17-game-against-ravens\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">missed their 41-24 defeat to the Ravens<\/a> the following week.<\/p>\n<p>The 27-year-old said that despite feeling symptom-free last week, he was unable to pass the required tests to be cleared then.<\/p>\n<p><img style=\"aspect-ratio:0.62938882;display:block\" loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" data-modal-image=\"38074342\" width=\"371\" height=\"590\" src=\"https:\/\/www.rawchili.com\/nfl\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/01\/Screenshot-2026-01-01-210000.png\" alt=\"Jordan Love and wife Ronika Stone.\" class=\"wp-image-38074342\"  \/>Jordan Love and wife Ronika Stone.
