Auburn\u2019s 2025 leader in receptions is off to the NFL.<\/p>\n

Eric Singleton Jr. made the announcement on Instagram Thursday evening, becoming the seventh Auburn wide receiver expected to leave the program. He\u2019s also the third Auburn player to declare for the draft, joining Keldric Faulk<\/a> and Connor Lew<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Singleton caught 58 passes for 534 yards and three touchdowns this season. He and Cam Coleman<\/a> were the team\u2019s two most productive receivers by far, and both are now set to leave the program.<\/p>\n

A Georgia Tech transfer, the 2025 season was Singleton\u2019s lone year on the Plains. He was seen as a big signee for Auburn last offseason, ranked by 247Sports and On3 as the top-ranked wide receiver in the transfer portal.<\/p>\n

Despite setting a career-high in receptions, he didn\u2019t quite match is Georgia Tech production at Auburn. Part of that can be attributed to the overall dysfunction of the Tigers\u2019 offense in Hugh Freeze\u2019s final season as head coach.<\/p>\n

With Singleton now leaving, Auburn has a full rebuild on its hands at wide receiver. The Tigers signed three freshmen receivers in its 2026 signing class, but will need to add multiple others via the transfer portal.<\/p>\n
