The Cleveland Browns<\/a> were without tight ends Harold Fannin Jr. and David Njoku in addition to linebacker Carson Schwesinger Jan. 2 for a third consecutive day of practice, and all three players were ruled out for their Week 18 game<\/a> against the Cincinnati Bengals<\/a> at Paycor Stadium.<\/p>\n

Fannin leads the Browns with 72 catches for 731 receiving yards and six touchdowns in his rookie season with Cleveland. He had seven catches for 63 yards during Cleveland’s Week 1 loss<\/a> to the Bengals.<\/p>\n

Schwesinger, also a rookie, leads the Browns with 156 tackles over 16 games. He had a team-high eight tackles against Cincinnati in Week 1.<\/p>\n

Njoku ranks fourth on the team this season with 293 receiving yards in 12 games.<\/p>\n

Browns defensive end Myles Garrett, limited during practice Jan. 1 with a hip injury, returned Jan. 2 to the practice field.<\/p>\n

Garrett, the NFL’s leader in sacks this season with 22, needs one more sack to break the league’s single-season record of 22.5, set in 2001 by Michael Strahan and matched in 2021 by TJ Watt.<\/p>\n
