The Baltimore Ravens took Lamar Jackson off their Week 18 injury report after the star quarterback completed his first full week of practice since Week 10.<\/p>\n
Jackson suffered a back contusion in Week 16, sidelining him all of last week. The team emphasized the severity of the injury last week, raising concern about Jackson\u2019s status for Week 17 as well. But his full participation on Wednesday spurred optimism in The Castle about his status for Sunday\u2019s trip to Pittsburgh.<\/p>\n
That optimism has turned into certainty; in fact, Jackson might be the healthiest he has been all season.<\/p>\n
\u201cIt\u2019s been the closest we\u2019ve been in a long time where [Jackson]\u2018s going to be a full-go all week \u2013 that\u2019s a fact,\u201d offensive coordinator Todd Monken said on Thursday. He noted that Jackson\u2019s absences have given Tyler Huntley more reps with the first-team offense, which has clearly translated to the field.<\/p>\n
\u201cIf that doesn\u2019t really tell you that practice matters and the reps and your timing and your team\u2019s confidence around you, I don\u2019t know what does,\u201d he added. \u201cYou like having your quarterback out there every day.\u201d<\/p>\n
