The Denver Broncos<\/a> have ruled out linebacker Dre Greenlaw (hamstring<\/a>)\u00a0ahead of their regular season finale against the Los Angeles Chargers<\/a>. This will mark the ninth game he has missed this season.<\/p>\n

Greenlaw previously missed the first six games of the campaign with a quad injury, one game with a suspension<\/a> and last week’s game with his current hamstring injury. The 28-year-old linebacker has totaled 43 tackles, two pass breakups, one interception, one forced fumble and one sack in eight appearances this season.<\/p>\n

Greenlaw is expected to be ready for the playoffs, according to the Denver Post’s Luca Evans<\/a>. With Greenlaw sidelined this week, Justin Strnad is set to make his eighth start of the season in Week 18. Strnad will be joined by Alex Singleton at inside linebacker.<\/p>\n

The Broncos<\/a> are going to be thin at linebacker, as they also ruled out Karene Reid (hamstring). They are likely saving Reid for the playoff run.<\/p>\n

Denver may also be down defensive lineman John Franklin-Myers (hip), who was listed as questionable.<\/p>\n

Elsewhere on the injury front, tight end Nate Adkins (knee<\/a>) and wide receiver Pat Bryant (concussion<\/a>)\u00a0appear to be on track to return after sitting out a Christmas win over the Kansas City Chiefs<\/a>. Denver’s final injury report can be viewed below.<\/p>\n

Sunday’s game (2:25 p.m. MT) will be regionally televised on CBS (view the TV broadcast map<\/a>). With the Chargers resting quarterback Justin Herbert<\/a> and select starters, the Broncos are considered big favorites<\/a> this week.<\/p>\n
