Or is it?<\/p>\n<p>Back in Week 15, defensive lineman D.J. Davidson and linebacker Demetrius Flannigan-Fowles fell ill. Since then, cornerback Art Green, nose tackle Dexter Lawrence, edge rusher Abdul Carter, wide receiver Jalin Hyatt, and Johnson have all gotten sick, per the Giants&#8217; injury report.<\/p>\n<p>Earlier this week, Carter, Johnson, and Hyatt were all <a href=\"https:\/\/x.com\/JordanRaanan\/status\/2006419792236802497\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener nofollow\">reportedly sent home<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>While Johnson was ruled out for Sunday&#8217;s game, Lawrence and Carter were not given a designation. Hyatt was listed as questionable.<\/p>\n<p>However, Johnson contested his designation on Friday night, appearing courtside at Madison Square Garden for a game between the New York Knicks and Atlanta Hawks.<\/p>\n<p>Johnson looked happy and healthy, and apparently that&#8217;s because he is.<\/p>\n<p>After his appearance at MSG went viral, Johnson took to social media, declaring, &#8220;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.instagram.com\/stories\/theo.johnson_\/3801708186156561455\/?hl=en\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener nofollow\">I am not sick<\/a>&#8221; on his Instagram story alongside a photo of himself at MSG.<\/p>\n<p>The NFL frowns upon injury report manipulation, and the penalties can be severe: Fines, loss of draft picks, and\/or suspensions.
