The NFL\u2019s Black Monday is just around the corner, which can only mean one thing: Seattle Seahawks\u2019 coordinator speculation is back.<\/p>\n

The Seahawks aren\u2019t in danger of losing anyone on the defensive side of the ball, but the team\u2019s offensive coordinator, Klint Kubiak, is expected to draw interest for a head coaching job, according to a report from The Athletic\u2019s Dianna Russini<\/a>. In Kubiak\u2019s first year leading the Seahawks offense, they\u2019ve boasted the No. 2 scoring offense en route to a 13-3 record and a shot at the NFC\u2019s No. 1 seed.<\/p>\n

If the Seahawks secure the No. 1 seed against the San Francisco 49ers on Sunday, Kubiak will be eligible to begin interviewing with teams on Jan. 7. Should Seattle find themselves in the Wild Card round, teams would need to wait an additional week, either Jan. 13 or 14, to interview Kubiak for their head coaching opening.<\/p>\n

There are currently only two openings for head coaching jobs with the New York Giants and the Tennessee Titans. It\u2019s expected the Las Vegas Raiders won\u2019t return former Seahawks head coach Pete Carroll; however, there might be some anti-Seattle sentiment in Vegas, judging by how the 2025 season went.<\/p>\n
