{"id":652856,"date":"2026-01-04T09:07:26","date_gmt":"2026-01-04T09:07:26","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.rawchili.com\/nfl\/652856\/"},"modified":"2026-01-04T09:07:26","modified_gmt":"2026-01-04T09:07:26","slug":"jets-star-running-backs-time-in-new-york-likely-finished-2","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.rawchili.com\/nfl\/652856\/","title":{"rendered":"Jets Star Running Back&#8217;s Time In New York Likely Finished"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The New York Jets are positioned to end the season with yet another top-ten draft pick and are in danger of falling to 3-14 in head coach Aaron Glenn\u2019s first year with the team.<\/p>\n<p>Their offense ranks in the bottom five in both yards per game and points per game.<\/p>\n<p>The team announced Saturday that they will be without the player who leads the team in all-purpose yardage, Breece Hall. <\/p>\n<p>Hall has played in all 16 games this season, but <a href=\"https:\/\/x.com\/AdamSchefter\/status\/2007539506639986844?s=20\" rel=\"nofollow\">has now been downgraded<\/a> to \u201cout\u201d with a \u201cknee injury\u201d despite taking his 14 carries for 111 yards and a touchdown last week against the New England Patriots.<\/p>\n<p>The timing of the announcement, as well as the circumstances regarding Hall\u2019s contract, make this move peculiar. <\/p>\n<p class=\"nesn-in-content-ad__copy\">Story continues below advertisement<\/p>\n<p>When Glenn took over as head coach in New York, three massive extensions were given out.
