The Philadelphia Eagles are trying to beat the Washington Commanders today \u2026 but they aren\u2019t exactly going all out to do it.<\/p>\n
The Birds will be resting a number of key starters in an effort to prepare for their first Wild Card game against a team yet to be determined.<\/p>\n
With a win in this game, the Eagles will give themselves a chance to be the No. 2 seed and host the No. 7 Green Bay Packers. It\u2019ll just take a Detroit Lions win over the Chicago Bears to make that scenario happen. For what it\u2019s worth, the Lions are listed as 3.5-point road underdogs.<\/p>\n
If the Eagles don\u2019t manage to beat Washington but they do get help from the Lions winning \u2026 well, that\u2019ll be frustrating.<\/p>\n
But I don\u2019t think that\u2019s the most likely scenario for Sunday.<\/p>\n
I think the Eagles, led by Touchdown Tanner McKee, will do enough to come out on top against Josh Johnson\u2019s Commanders. But do the Lions come out on top in Chicago?<\/p>\n
Sure, why not? Dan Campbell\u2019s team could show some fight to try to end a very disappointing season on a high note.<\/p>\n
