JACKSONVILLE \u2013 The Jaguars emphatically reached an important goal Sunday.<\/p>\n

They were just as emphatic that that means little compared to what happens next, with the playoffs at hand after clinching the division title.<\/p>\n

“I’m not trying to take the foot off the pedal,” Foyesade Oluokun<\/a> said.<\/p>\n

Oluokun, the Jaguars’ middle linebacker and defensive captain, spoke in a celebrating locker room after a 41-7 victory over the Tennessee Titans at EverBank Stadium Sunday<\/a> clinched their second AFC South title in four seasons. The T-Shirt he wore commemorated the title. A cap commemorating the title sat askew on his head, and teammates reiterated his message.<\/p>\n

“People are always talking about, ‘What’s the ceiling of this team?”’ Jaguars defensive end Travon Walker<\/a> said. “There’s no such thing as a ceiling. You always want to continue to rise to the occasion. This is the occasion we set for ourselves as a team.<\/p>\n

“We’re just now getting started.”<\/p>\n

Winning the South was cool. It’s not the ultimate cool.<\/p>\n

“We know there’s more for us; it doesn’t stop here,” said Jaguars quarterback Trevor Lawrence<\/a>, who threw three touchdown passes \u2013 all in the first half \u2013 Sunday and who finished the season with a franchise-record 38 total touchdowns, 29 passing and nine rushing.<\/p>\n
