DENVER \u2014 The Los Angeles Chargers had a chance to sweep the season series and disrupt the entire AFC playoff picture with a win on Sunday \u2014 instead, with little motivation for themselves to win, they sat out much of their team and lost to the Denver Broncos 19-3.<\/p>\n

So the Broncos became regular-season champions of the AFC, only blemished by the Chargers, Colts and Jags this fall. While Denver sits this week to find out who they\u2019ll play in two weekends, the Chargers travel to New England, looking to upset the AFC East champions. If Los Angeles pulls it off, they\u2019ll be right back in the Mile High City for the Divisional Round. And that makes Tony Jefferson\u2019s comments all the more eye-opening.<\/p>\n

Walking off the field Sunday night and into the tunnel of Empower Field, the Chargers\u2019 corner railed against the Broncos for anyone who would listen and an ESPN reporter was.<\/a><\/p>\n

\u201cThey suck bro, I don\u2019t care,\u201d the 11-year pro shouted. \u201cI have no respect for them. I don\u2019t like nobody on the Broncos. My homie JL Skinner, I mess (sic) with him though. Broncos suck, though.\u201d<\/p>\n

It\u2019s big talk and possible bulletin board material if the Chargers can overcome being field goal underdogs on the road and make their way back to Denver. Even if it\u2019s not Los Angeles coming back, it speaks a lot to how the Broncos are still viewed around the league despite being the top seed in the AFC.<\/p>\n

Sunday\u2019s win wasn\u2019t the most inspiring clinch of the No. 1 slot and there have only been a few moments where the Broncos really blew you away. Yet, the record shows they\u2019ve been dominant and the wins just keep coming. So yeah, maybe the Broncos do suck<\/a>, but if things keep happening the way they have been, the Super Bowl champions this year won\u2019t have Jefferson\u2019s respect. They\u2019ll just have a parade for how much they suck. Boohoo.<\/p>\n
