Over the course of the season, individual game grades are combined to produce a season grade between 0 and 100, with 100 being the highest possible.

Here are the highest-graded players from BYU’s memorable 12-2 season, with a minimum of 100 snaps played.

Highest-graded BYU football offensive players in 2025

RB LJ Martin – 84.1 grade
TE Carsen Ryan – 83.0
IOL Bruce Mitchell – 78.4
QB Bear Bachmeier – 78.2
WR Chase Roberts – 74.8
WR Parker Kingston – 73.1
IOL Sonny Makasini – 72.1
OT Andrew Gentry – 66.9
IOL Kyle Sfarcioc – 66.1
OT Isaiah Jatta – 64.1

LJ Martin was a star the entire season. Ryan only played one season at BYU, but he made an impact.

Then, quarterback Bear Bachmeier, being the fourth-highest-rated player, speaks to how impressive he was in his true freshman campaign.

Bachmeier was the highest-ranked true freshman quarterback by Pro Football Focus this season.

Top defensive players

CB Evan Johnson – 83.0
SAF Faletau Satuala – 82.1
SAF Tanner Wall – 81.8
DT John Taumoepeau – 76.0
DE Hunter Clegg – 70.3
DE Bodie Schoonover – 69.1
DE Logan Lutui – 69.0
LB Jack Kelly – 68.7
CB Mory Bamba – 68.4
CB Therrian “Tre” Alexander III – 67.2

Evan Johnson was a top performer for BYU this season.
