The Kansas City Chiefs added another veteran player to their offensive line room on Friday by signing guard Tremayne Anchrum.<\/p>\n
Anchrum, who stands at 6-foot-2 and 314 pounds, has appeared in 31 games (with 1 start) during his career. He originally entered the NFL in 2020 as a seventh-round pick of the Los Angeles Rams, where he made the transition from tackle (which he played in college) to guard.<\/p>\n
In total, Anchrum logged 133 special teams’ snaps and 101 offensive snaps during his time with the Rams, with 96 of those offensive snaps (all of which took place at right guard) occurring in 2023.<\/p>\n
He spent last season on the Houston Texans’ practice squad, and now in Kansas City, he’ll have an opportunity to compete for a spot in the Chiefs’ offensive line room.<\/p>\n
In other roster news, the Chiefs made two additional moves in recent days:<\/p>\n
RB Keaontay Ingram was waived with an injury designation on Thursday and, after clearing waivers, reverted to the Chiefs’ Injured Reserve list a few days later.<\/p>\n
