Getty Images<\/p>\n<p>The receiver has been <a href=\"https:\/\/www.espn.com\/college-football\/story\/_\/id\/47531413\/sources-wr-carnell-tate-leaving-ohio-state-nfl-draft\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener nofollow\">projected by ESPN\u2019s Mel Kiper Jr.<\/a> as a top-10 pick.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Over his three years \u2014 which included a national title in 2024 \u2014 in Columbus, Tate had 121 catches for 1,872 yards and 14 touchdowns.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cBeing a Buckeye has been an amazing ride that I will cherish for the rest of my life,\u201d he wrote. \u201cFrom day one, I\u2019ve always dreamed of playing for this program and it has been a dream come true. This program has pushed me to be my best, taught me how to compete at the highest level, and given me memories and relationships I\u2019ll never forget.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThank you to Coach Hartline, Coach Day, Coach AT, Kaila, Stew, and CJ for their guidance, mentorship, and for pushing me every single day.
