However, one of their players is already in the headlines for the wrong reasons.<\/p>\n<p>Bengals cornerback Cam Taylor-Britt was sentenced to five days in jail after pleading guilty to charges of reckless driving and driving without a valid license, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.nbcsports.com\/nfl\/profootballtalk\/rumor-mill\/news\/bengals-cb-cam-taylor-britt-sentenced-to-five-days-in-jail\" data-wpel-link=\"external\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"external noopener noreferrer nofollow\">according to Josh Alper of Pro Football Talk<\/a>. He was taken straight to Hamilton County Jail to serve his sentence.<\/p>\n<p>Taylor-Britt originally faced five charges stemming from separate incidents in June and September, so the judge believed their ruling was \u201cgenerous.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThat\u2019s\u00a0a gift,\u201d <a href=\"https:\/\/local12.com\/news\/local\/bengals-cb-headed-to-jail-after-pleading-guilty-to-traffic-charges-cincinnati-cam-taylor-britt-reckless-driving-game-injury-crutches-injury-hamilton-county-license-free-agent\" data-wpel-link=\"external\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"external noopener noreferrer nofollow\">the judge said<\/a>, via Chelsea Sick of WKRC. \u201cFive days instead of 30. He\u2019s got to do them now.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>The NFL has not taken any disciplinary action against Taylor-Britt yet, but it is reportedly aware of the matter.<\/p>\n<p>Taylor-Britt played in just eight games for the Bengals this year before a foot injury ended his season.
