AP<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThere\u2019s a lot of love for the game that\u2019s still there and I don\u2019t think I\u2019ll ever lose that. I don\u2019t know. It\u2019s a tough thing to navigate, but at the same time, I think if my body can heal up and rest up and I can feel content that I can go out there and give it another run, I think I would do it in a heartbeat. So I think right now it\u2019s just finding that answer \u2026 when it all settles down.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Kelce, whose Chiefs finished the season at 6-11, shared that he\u2019ll spend some time being \u201chuman\u201d with his friends and family.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI put my feet up and I just be a human because I\u2019ve been putting my body through the wringer for the love of it. I do enjoy playing football and the physical aspect of it. AP<\/p>\n<p>\u201cIt was a tough season,\u201d Travis said. \u201cObviously, it ended even worse because my guy 1-5 [Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes] went down [with a season-ending torn ACL in a loss to the Chargers in Week 15].<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe finished the season with a lot of our guys banged up \u2026 It\u2019s a tough way to go out, especially with the amount of success and the standard you hold yourself and your team to. You try to look back and learn from it and try to figure out where it went wrong or how you could\u2019ve been better.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cIt\u2019s just a s\u2014-y feeling and a s\u2014-y way to try and navigate one of the things you love the most to do, playing football. I appreciate everyone that was out there giving it all \u2026 made it as good as we could\u2019ve going into the last week and the end of the season.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Kelce added that he feels embarrassed about not making the playoffs for the first time since 2014.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cIt\u2019s kind of an embarrassing feeling, but you kind of keep it moving.
