CHARLOTTE, N.C. (WBTV) – The Carolina Panthers<\/a> will take the field in Charlotte this weekend in a playoff game against the Los Angeles Rams.<\/p>\n

Thousands will watch the game at Bank of America Stadium on Saturday, Jan. 10. Click here for everything you need to know before you go.<\/a><\/p>\n

Saturday\u2019s wild-card round playoff game will air on Fox. You can find the game on your local Fox TV stations.<\/p>\n

If you don\u2019t have access to local TV programming, the game will also be available to stream on the Fox Sports app. <\/p>\n

WBTV is a CBS-affiliated TV station, and will not be airing the playoff game.<\/p>\n

\ud83c\udfc8 Panthers legend to call playoff game<\/p>\n

Panthers fans can expect a familiar face in the broadcast booth this Saturday.<\/p>\n

WBTV\u2019s Luke Tucker writes<\/a>: Panthers legend Greg Olsen and boothmate Joe Davis will be on the call for the Jan. 10 matchup with the Los Angeles Rams.<\/p>\n

Olsen — who played for Carolina from 2011-2019 — was with the Panthers the last time they were in the playoffs. In fact, he scored a touchdown<\/a> and was Carolina\u2019s leading receiver in the team\u2019s most recent playoff game, all the way back on Jan. 7, 2018.<\/p>\n

Having Olsen — who still lives in Charlotte — on the call has brought more good than bad for the Panthers this season.<\/p>\n

\ud83c\udfc8 Forecast could affect game<\/p>\n

Rain and thunderstorms were possible in Charlotte on Saturday, Jan. 10, and could affect<\/a> the Panthers game.<\/p>\n

Bank of America Stadium does not have a dome over top. Games there still happen rain or shine, but the situation is different if lightning is involved.<\/p>\n

If lightning is recorded anywhere within eight miles of the stadium, everyone will exit the field and the seating bowl will be cleared out. Staff will help people take cover.<\/p>\n

At least 30 minutes must pass without any lightning before the game can start or resume.<\/p>\n
