It’s also the sixth time one of Special Teams Coordinator Frank Ross’s bunch won it since he took over coaching ‘the third phase’ in 2021.<\/p>\n
As the leading scorer in franchise history, Fairbairn continues to break records like Taylor Swift on tour.<\/p>\n
Since he entered the league in 2017, he has more field goals than anyone else (255). And we’re not talking chip shots. He has hit more bombs (50+ yard field goals) than any other kicker over that span (51). His 44 field goals this season tied for first in the NFL all-time in a single season!<\/p>\n
There have been dozens of AFC Player of the Week winners in Texans history. It’s worth noting that the very first one was for Aaron Glenn’s two pick-6 performance in the only Texans win at Pittsburgh back in the inaugural season of 2002.
