He had a brace on his knee.<\/p>\n<p class=\"EkqkG IGXmU nlgHS yuUao lqtkC TjIXL aGjvy \">\u201cExpecting 200% recovery,\u201d Crosby wrote. \u201cYear 8 Will Be The Greatest Year Yet.\u201d<\/p>\n<p class=\"EkqkG IGXmU nlgHS yuUao lqtkC TjIXL aGjvy \">Crosby didn&#8217;t say where the surgery took place, but he said on the \u201cLet&#8217;s Go\u201d podcast with Jim Gray that he was planning to fly to Los Angeles on Monday to meet with orthopedic surgeon Dr. Neal ElAttrache.<\/p>\n<p class=\"EkqkG IGXmU nlgHS yuUao lqtkC TjIXL aGjvy \">Crosby hurt his knee at mid-season and played through the injury, but was <a class=\"zZygg UbGlr iFzkS qdXbA WCDhQ DbOXS tqUtK GpWVU iJYzE \" data-testid=\"prism-linkbase\" href=\"https:\/\/apnews.com\/article\/maxx-crosby-raiders-injured-reserve-ir-9a6d2eb2787e07a3084e9597afa93d12?utm_source=copy&amp;utm_medium=share\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">placed on injured reserve<\/a> with two games left. Crosby left the Raiders&#8217; facility upset after that decision, but returned the following week.<\/p>\n<p class=\"EkqkG IGXmU nlgHS yuUao lqtkC TjIXL aGjvy \">He had 10 sacks and a career-high 28 tackles for loss this season. Crosby has double-digit sacks three of the past four seasons.<\/p>\n<p class=\"EkqkG IGXmU nlgHS yuUao lqtkC TjIXL aGjvy \">Crosby signed a <a class=\"zZygg UbGlr iFzkS qdXbA WCDhQ DbOXS tqUtK GpWVU iJYzE \" data-testid=\"prism-linkbase\" href=\"https:\/\/apnews.com\/article\/maxx-crosby-raiders-extension-e1ba8a77aab171cc726da869e2e8b39e\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">three-year extension<\/a> worth $106.5 million, with $91.5 million guaranteed, on March 5 that briefly made him the highest-paid non-quarterback in NFL history. The deal takes Crosby through the 2029 season.<\/p>\n<p class=\"EkqkG IGXmU nlgHS yuUao lqtkC TjIXL aGjvy \">Raiders general manager John Spytek was asked this week about Crosby&#8217;s future with the organization.<\/p>\n<p class=\"EkqkG IGXmU nlgHS yuUao lqtkC TjIXL aGjvy \">\u201cI\u2019ve had the opportunity in the last several weeks to spend a lot of time with Maxx, and I think it\u2019s been well documented that he didn\u2019t love the idea of not playing football,\u201d Spytek said. \u201cI think you always want that from your best players. In fact, I think that\u2019s why they\u2019re your best players. So, I love Maxx.
