The New York Giants<\/a> signed offensive lineman Jake Kubas to a reserve\/future contract on Wednesday, securing his return for a third season.<\/p>\n

The 25-year-old guard from North Dakota State originally joined the Giants as an undrafted free agent in 2024. He made the active roster as a rookie and started the final three games, showing early promise.<\/p>\n

In 2025, Kubas competed for the starting right guard job in training camp but couldn’t unseat veteran Greg Van Roten. With Aaron Stinnie and Evan Neal serving as backup guards, Kubas spent the entire season on the practice squad.<\/p>\n

After the season ended, the Giants gave him time to explore options elsewhere, but he chose to re-sign. The futures deal places him on the 90-man offseason roster, providing another opportunity to compete for a role along the interior offensive line as the team rebuilds depth.<\/p>\n

Kubas is the seventh player to sign a reserve\/future deal, joining the following:<\/p>\n
