Fellow sophomores Jordan Young and Elijah Dotson also entered the transfer portal, while senior cornerback Jyaire Hill has yet to confirm that he\u2019ll be coming back for his senior year.<\/p>\n<p class=\"duet--article--dangerously-set-cms-markup duet--article--standard-paragraph _1nfb3k4i _16w9vov1 _16w9vov0 ls9zuh1\">Sanders originally joined the program in 2025. He played his high school ball at Kilgore High School in Kilgore, Texas, and was ranked as the No. 229 overall player and No. 31 player in the state of Texas according to the <a href=\"https:\/\/247sports.com\/player\/jayden-sanders-46137335\/high-school-288574\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">247Sports composite<\/a> in the class of 2025.<\/p>\n<p class=\"duet--article--dangerously-set-cms-markup duet--article--standard-paragraph _1nfb3k4i _16w9vov1 _16w9vov0 ls9zuh1\">He was a quick riser in the program after having an impressive fall camp. Sanders made starts early in the year against Central Michigan and Nebraska &#8211; earning Michigan\u2019s defensive player of the week honors against the Cornhuskers.
