Speaking to Jim Gray on SiriusXM’s “Let’s Go” podcast<\/a>, Belichick said he believes the Denver Broncos<\/a> and the Seattle Seahawks<\/a> are the two teams to beat in the NFL playoffs.\u00a0<\/p>\n “When you look at Denver and Seattle, those are two good football teams that are very well balanced,” Belichick told Gray<\/a>.\u00a0“Denver’s\u00a0been incredible with the number of close games they’ve won, but they’re both\u00a0very good\u00a0defensive teams, which\u00a0is\u00a0I think\u00a0always\u00a0an advantage when you play in the playoffs\u00a0and play\u00a0at home, and\u00a0play outside.\u00a0\u2026\u00a0When I say\u00a0‘all’\u00a0that’s a lot easier said than done, but all Denver and Seattle have to do\u00a0are\u00a0win two games at home\u00a0and\u00a0they’re in the Super Bowl. And that’s doable with a week off. So I think they’re definitely the two teams to beat.”<\/p>\n The Broncos<\/a> and Seahawks secured first-round byes in the NFL playoffs after securing the No. 1 seeds in the AFC and NFC, respectively. They will learn their opponents for the divisional round this week.
