Mike Borgonzi and the Tennessee Titans<\/a>\u2019 front office wrapped up Friday by adding another name to their head coaching search.\u00a0<\/p>\n

NFL Insider Tom Pelissero posted on social media that the Titans will interview recently fired Miami Dolphins<\/a> head coach Mike McDaniel on Wednesday, adding another former head coach to the list of potential candidates.\u00a0<\/p>\n

McDaniel has been a hot name on social media with Titans fans, who were viewing him more as an offensive coordinator candidate than a head coach, especially after news broke that Tennessee requested an interview with San Francisco 49ers defensive coordinator Robert Saleh.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Widely considered one of the top offensive minds in the league, McDaniel has been average as a head coach with the Dolphins, accumulating a 35-33 record and two playoff appearances in his four seasons at the helm.\u00a0<\/p>\n

The addition of McDaniel now brings the number of initial interviews in the Titans\u2019 coaching search to 16, and more names could be added in the future.\u00a0<\/p>\n
