Add another candidate’s name to the growing list of targets in the Detroit Lions<\/a>‘ offensive coordinator search.<\/p>\n Per a report from ESPN’s Jeremy Fowler, the Lions<\/a> will interview Baltimore Ravens<\/a> quarterbacks coach Tee Martin for Detroit’s offensive coordinator position on Monday. Martin was Lions receiver Amon-Ra St. Brown’s position coach for one season at USC<\/a> in 2018.<\/p>\n Martin has spent the past five seasons with the Ravens<\/a>, including the last three as quarterbacks coach. The 47-year-old joined the Ravens in 2021 and spent two years as Baltimore’s wide receivers coach.<\/p>\n Of course, Martin has worked closely with two-time NFL MVP Ravens quarterback Lamar Jackson. With Martin as Jackson’s quarterbacks coach, Jackson earned one of his two NFL MVP awards (2023) and captured a pair of first-team All-Pro honors (2023, 2024).<\/p>\n During the 2024 campaign, Jackson passed for 4,172 yards and 41 touchdowns against just four interceptions. Jackson added 915 rushing yards and four more scores during that 2024 season.<\/p>\n Expert NFL picks: Exclusive betting insights only at USA TODAY.<\/a><\/p>\n A Tennessee<\/a> alum, Martin was a two-year starter and standout quarterback for the Volunteers, leading the Vols to a 22-3 record and a 23-16 victory over Florida State<\/a> in the first-ever BCS National Championship Game to cap the 1998 college football season.<\/p>\n Before his leap to the NFL coaching ranks, Martin coached at Power Four programs Kentucky<\/a>, USC and Tennessee.<\/p>\n Martin was Kentucky’s wide receivers coach in 2010 and its passing game coordinator and wide receivers coach in 2011. Then, Martin joined USC in 2012, where he coached receivers from 2012-13.
