Arizona Cardinals tight end Trey McBride was named a First-Team All-Pro<\/a> for the first time in his career on Saturday.<\/p>\n

He was nearly a unanimous decision, receiving 49 of 50 first-place votes.<\/p>\n

Surprised by the honor? You shouldn\u2019t be.<\/p>\n

Despite Arizona\u2019s team struggles, it was a year to remember for McBride as he tallied 126 catches for 1,239 yards and 11 touchdowns, all career marks.<\/p>\n

McBride scored more touchdowns in 2025 than he did in his first three seasons combined (6).<\/p>\n

He also paced all NFL tight ends in yards, tied Philadelphia\u2019s Dallas Goedert in scores and trailed only Puka Nacua (129) for the most receptions in the league.<\/p>\n

Not only that, McBride also did some serious re-writing in the NFL and franchise history books.<\/p>\n

From an NFL standpoint:<\/p>\n

\u2013 Broke the single-season receptions record<\/a> for a tight end.<\/p>\n

\u2013 Became the first tight end ever to record back-to-back seasons with at least 100 catches.<\/p>\n

\u2013 Set a new record for consecutive games with at least five receptions with 16.<\/p>\n

\u2013 Has the most catches by a TE across his first four NFL seasons with 347.<\/p>\n

\u2013 Became the first tight end to hit 1,000 yards, 100 catches and 10 touchdowns in 14 games or fewer.<\/p>\n

\u2013 Is currently tied with the Kansas City Chiefs\u2019 Travis Kelce for the longest streak of road games with at least five catches with 10.<\/p>\n

From a franchise standpoint:<\/p>\n

\u2013 Marks the first Cardinals player to have 110 receptions, at least 1,150 yards and 10 scores in a season.<\/p>\n

\u2013 Set the franchise single-season record for catches, passing DeAndre Hopkins\u2019 2020 mark of 115.<\/p>\n

\u2013 Broke Jackie Smith\u2019s single-season touchdown mark (nine) for a tight end with 11.<\/p>\n

\u2013 McBride also set a new single-season mark for receiving yards by a tight end with 1,239. Smith (1,205) held the record since 1967.<\/p>\n

\u2013 Passed Anquan Boldin (342) for the most catches by a Cardinals player across his first four seasons.<\/p>\n

\u2013 Is one of two players (Larry Fitzgerald being the other) in franchise history with at least four games of 10 catches or more in a single season.<\/p>\n

\u2013 Speaking of Fitzgerald, McBride joined the future Hall of Famer as the only Cardinals in history to record at least 100 catches and 1,000 receiving yards in back-to-back seasons.<\/p>\n

Simply put, McBride more than earned his All-Pro nod.<\/p>\n
