The NFL playoffs officially kick off today, starting with a matchup between the Carolina Panthers and the Los Angeles Rams. <\/p>\n

Despite their 8-9 record, the Panthers won the NFC South title, which earned them the No. 4 seed in the playoffs. Carolina is led at quarterback by Bryce Young, who finished the regular season with 3,011 passing yards and 23 touchdowns. <\/p>\n The Rams finished second in the NFC West division with a 12-5 record, which resulted in them having the No. 5 seed and having to travel to North Carolina for the first round of the playoffs. They\u2019re led by veteran quarterback Matthew Stafford, who is playing at an elite level this season.
