The 2025 Associated Press All-Pro Team has been revealed, with 50 voters naming the absolute best of the best at every position. But Cowboys<\/a> fans looking for their own stars will have to look to the runners-up on the second team.<\/p>\n

Leaguewide, edge rusher Myles Garrett (Browns<\/a>) and wide receivers Puka Nacua (Rams) and Jaxon Smith-Njigba (Seahawks<\/a>) were unanimous choices, while tight end Trey McBride (Cardinals<\/a>) fell just one vote short of a clean sweep to lead at his slot.<\/p>\n

Other notable first-team selections include quarterback Matthew Stafford (Rams), running back Bijan Robinson (Falcons), all-purpose player Christian McCaffrey (49ers), and slot cornerback Cooper DeJean (Eagles<\/a>).<\/p>\n

Packers<\/a> edge rusher Micah Parsons also earned a first-team nod, a feat he had previously accomplished in 2021 and 2022 while with the Cowboys. (Parsons was selected for the second team in 2023.)<\/p>\n

\u201cThat\u2019s great. Needed that for real,\u201d Parsons said<\/a> of his most recent selection, a bright spot during his current rehab of a torn ACL that will keep him out of the playoffs. \u201cLook forward to trying to get back to that same status this offseason.\u201d<\/p>\n

All-Pro voting tends to carry more weight with players and those in the football business, as it is generally far more selective than the Pro Bowl, which is often viewed as more of a popularity contest rather than a definitive statement about superiority at one’s position. But a full tabulation of the All-Pro votes<\/a> shows some rather odd peculiarities in both who received votes and who did not.<\/p>\n

Here’s a closer look at the three Cowboys players who made the All-Pro Second Team.<\/p>\n

WR George Pickens\"ARLINGTON,<\/p>\n

With 21 first-place votes, Pickens just missed the third WR spot on the first team. (Cincinnati’s Ja’Marr Chase took it, with 26.) It’s the first All-Pro honor for Pickens, who had career highs this season in receptions, yards, and touchdowns and also earned his first Pro Bowl selection. Also on the second team alongside Pickens are Amon-Ra St. Brown (Lions<\/a>) and Chris Olave (Saints<\/a>).<\/p>\n

K Brandon Aubrey\"Sep<\/p>\n

This makes back-to-back second-team nods for Aubrey, who was previously the first-team’s kicker as a rookie in 2023. Aubrey received 12 first-place votes, trailing Minnesota’s Will Reichard, who took first-team honors this year, with 15. Aubrey ended the year 36-of-42 on field goals, with all six misses coming from 50 yards or beyond.<\/p>\n

KR KaVontae Turpin\"Detroit<\/p>\n

Turpin earned first-team All-Pro honors last year. His 14 first-place votes were good enough for second-team recognition in 2025, even though his kick return stats were mixed. Turpin had the most kick return yardage overall and the most attempts; his per-return average of 26.3 yards, however, ranked him just 20th in the league.<\/p>\n

This was the fourth year under the AP’s new voting system, in which voters made both a first-team and a second-team selection, with different point totals for each.<\/p>\n
