The recognition comes after the star wideout burst onto the scene as the top pass catcher in New Orleans with career highs across the board in his fourth year in the league. While this marks the first time that he has received the All-Pro nod, it only just solidifies what Saints fans have known and the rest of the NFL is coming to realize- Olave is him.

Just a year ago, Olave played in just eight regular-season games after suffering multiple concussions and dealing with a lingering ankle injury. The repeated head injuries early in his career even had Olave contemplating his football future. Fast forward to now, and the receiver just capped his best season to date and played in all but one of the team’s games, missing just the season finale due to an illness (blood clot).

In Olave’s 16 games played, he would end with 1,163 yards, 40 more than his previous best in 2023. Those yards were gained from 100 receptions on 156 targets, good for an average of nearly 12 per catch. Olave was also the Saints’ leading scorer from a skill position with nine touchdowns. His longest reception of the season went for 62 yards.

Two other players have earned All-Pro recognition at the WR position in franchise history. Danny Abramowicz was named to the AP first team in 1969, just two years after the New Orleans Saints were established. The other? Michael Thomas in both 2018-19, when he was named to the first team in back-to-back seasons.

As well as Olave, Dallas’ George Pickens, and Detroit’s Amon-Ra St. Brown were named to this year’s All-Pro second team. Los Angeles Rams’ Puka Nacua, Seattle Seahawks’ Jaxon Smith-Njigba, and Cincinnati Bengals’ Ja’marr Chase made the first team.

Linebacker Demario Davis, cornerback Alontae Taylor, and long snapper Zach Wood were the other New Orleans Saints players to earn votes for All-Pro spots.

A huge congrats goes out to Olave for a well-deserved honor, especially coming back after an injury-filled 2024 and considering retirement.

New Orleans Saints’ wide receiver Chris Olave has been named a member of the 2025 AP NFL All-Pro…

[2076
7,896,55,65685,84861,401,2588,2572,2571,6,397
0":"post-669339","1":"post","2":"type-post","3":"status-publish","4":"format-standard","5":"has-post-thumbnail","7":"category-new-orleans-saints","8":"tag-football","9":"tag-new-orleans","10":"tag-new-orleans-saints","11":"tag-new-orleans-saints-analysis","12":"tag-new-orleans-saints-player-review","13":"tag-new-orleans-saints-news","14":"tag-new-orleans-saints-roster","15":"tag-neworleans","16":"tag-neworleanssaints","17":"tag-nfl","18":"tag-saints
["GET
