One less team to worry about.<\/p>\n

Joe senses there are a number of Bucs fans hoping for Mike McDaniel to fail.<\/p>\n

The former Dolphins shot-caller is rumored to be linked to the Bucs to fill the opening as offensive coordinator. To the best of Joe\u2019s knowledge, McDaniel hasn\u2019t interviewed with the team. Yet.<\/p>\n

McDaniel is a mixed bag, in \u201cthis Joe\u2019s\u201d mind. Some very good mixed with not-so-good. If you want to blame that on Tua, who is a terrible road quarterback, that\u2019s fine.<\/p>\n

Here are McDaniel\u2019s offenses in his four years in South Florida.<\/p>\n

So why is Joe bringing this all up? Well yesterday the Commandos hired David Blough as their offensive coordinator. Some in the NFL had linked McDaniel to the Commandos. So that\u2019s one less threat preventing McDaniel from coming to the Bucs.<\/p>\n

If McDaniel can make Tua look good (about half the time) he should do wonders for Baker Mayfield.<\/p>\n

And with Mayfield entering a contract year, there are tens of millions of reasons to see what Mayfield can do with a good offensive coordinator.
