As we turn the page to this week, the expectation is former Baltimore Ravens<\/a> head coach John Harbaugh will begin head-coaching interviews with interested parties.<\/p>\n

According to CBS Sports’ Jonathan Jones<\/a>, Harbaugh will schedule interviews this week and sources say there are four teams specifically to keep an eye on for Harbaugh.<\/p>\n

Those four teams are the New York Giants<\/a>, Atlanta Falcons<\/a>, Tennessee Titans<\/a> and Cleveland Browns<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Jones adds that the Giants and Falcons are believed to be the favorites, followed by the Titans. A separate source told Jones that “there is real and mutual interest” between Harbaugh and the Browns.<\/p>\n

Here’s Jones’ full report:<\/p>\n

Two sources on interested teams said their belief is Harbaugh’s top choices among the vacant jobs are the\u00a0New York Giants\u00a0and\u00a0Atlanta Falcons\u00a0in some order. Those sources added the\u00a0Tennessee Titans\u00a0are in third place, while a third, different source said there is real and mutual interest between Harbaugh and the\u00a0Cleveland Browns.<\/p>\n

There was a rumor floating around that Harbaugh was demanding a $20 million salary and full roster control, but Jones says that is not accurate.<\/p>\n

One thing to watch in all this is the eliminated playoff teams that could fire their head coach, like the Green Bay Packers<\/a>, for example.<\/p>\n

Matt LaFleur was expected to be safe<\/a> before Green Bay’s season-ending loss, but it remains to be seen if the Packers might change their mind after the brutal collapse against the Chicago Bears<\/a>.<\/p>\n

It’s very possible Harbaugh could have interest in Green Bay if LaFleur gets canned. The Packers are in a better position to win now than the aforementioned teams and they have a young roster with a franchise quarterback already in place.<\/p>\n

Harbaugh has a connection to the Packers through his agent, Bryan Harlan, who is the son of former Green Bay president, Bob Harlan, as ESPN’s Adam Schefter<\/a> noted.<\/p>\n

\u00a0<\/p>\n

“Former Packers President Bob Harlan is royalty in Green Bay. His son Bryan is an agent who represents John Harbaugh. John Harbaugh has deep midwestern roots and ties,” Schefter wrote.<\/p>\n

We will get more clarity on who Harbaugh is actually interested in during the week once his scheduled interviews start rolling in.<\/p>\n

While certainly not impossible, we wouldn’t expect a resolution this week.<\/p>\n
