Sounds like a rich man\u2019s problems to a fan base that has seen three playoff games (1-2) in the last 13 seasons and absorbed the NFL\u2019s second-most losses since 2017.<\/p>\n<p>McCarthy sits No. 15 \u2014 one spot behind seemingly <a href=\"https:\/\/nypost.com\/2026\/01\/09\/sports\/if-giants-really-want-john-harbaugh-its-going-to-take-a-serious-commitment\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">twice-as-desired candidate John Harbaugh<\/a> \u2014 on the NFL\u2019s all-time regular-season wins list (174-112-2) and is scheduled to interview in person with the Giants for their head coach vacancy Tuesday after sitting out last season.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cHe\u2019s a player\u2019s coach,\u201d Giants defensive lineman Chauncey Golston, who spent four seasons under McCarthy in Dallas, told The Post. \u201cYou can feel genuine energy. He wasn\u2019t one of those people who got out of who he was as a person.
