The other was Chandler Rogers.<\/p>\n<p>Bean, who played his college football at North Texas and Kansas, went undrafted in 2024 and signed with the <a href=\"https:\/\/sportsdata.usatoday.com\/football\/nfl\/teams\/indianapolis-colts\/338\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\" data-ylk=\"slk:Colts;elm:context_link;itc:0;sec:content-canvas\" class=\"link \">Colts<\/a> as an undrafted rookie.<\/p>\n<p>Advertisement<\/p>\n<p>After going through training camp and the preseason with the Colts, he was signed to the team&#8217;s practice squad in 2024 following roster cutdowns.<\/p>\n<p>On the Colts&#8217; roster at that time, Bean was listed as a quarterback and a wide receiver &#8212; although he spent his time at the quarterback position in practice and played at that spot during preseason games.<\/p>\n<p>In 2025, Bean again went through offseason programs, training camp, and the preseason with the Colts. He was released during roster cutdowns in late August but was not signed to the practice squad at that time.<\/p>\n<p>In five preseason games with the Colts over those two summers, Bean completed 67.4% of his passes for 341 yards with two touchdowns and two interceptions.
