Kansas City Chiefs center Creed Humphrey was named an Associated Press All-Pro First-Team selection for the second straight year on Tuesday.<\/p>\n
Humphrey, who was twice-named Big 12 Offensive Lineman of the Year during his time at Oklahoma, just finished his fifth year in the NFL with the Chiefs. He’s been an AP All-Pro after three of those seasons, including in 2023 when he earned it the first time as a second-team selection.<\/p>\n
According to Pro Football Focus data, Humphrey’s 742 pass-blocking snaps registered as the second highest total among all NFL centers. Humphrey allowed just eight quarterback pressures over that span, earning him PFF’s top grade at the position in the league.<\/p>\n
Joining Humphrey on the offensive line first-team were Denver’s Garrett Bolles at left tackle, Chicago’s Joe Thuney at left guard, Denver’s Quinn Meinerz at right guard and Detroit’s Penei Sewell at right tackle. He immediately became a starter in 2018 after redshirting his freshman year. He went on to be named a Freshman All-American that season before earning second-team All-American honors in 2019 and third-team honors in 2020.
