The Denver Broncos<\/a> are going to face Josh Allen<\/a> and the Buffalo Bills<\/a> on Saturday in the divisional round. The Broncos finished the regular season as the No. 1 seed in the AFC with a 14-3 record, earning a first-round bye. The Bills, on the other hand, defeated the Jacksonville Jaguars<\/a> in the wild card round, 27-24.<\/p>\n

Denver held its first practice session of the week on Tuesday, leading up to the divisional round matchup against the Bills. Several players sat out the Broncos\u2019 season finale against the Los Angeles Chargers<\/a> in Week 18, but Denver is trending toward being at full strength on Sunday.<\/p>\n

Linebacker Dre Greenlaw has missed the Broncos\u2019 last two games due to a hamstring injury. The 28-year-old has sat out multiple games this season due to injuries and a suspension. In eight games played (seven starts), the former San Francisco 49ers<\/a> LB has registered 43 combined tackles (15 solo), one interception, two passes defended and one forced fumble.<\/p>\n

Defensive end John Franklin-Myers was also inactive against the Chargers in Week 18 due to a hip injury. The 29-year-old played all 16 games (starting 15) for Denver before sitting out the season finale. Franklin-Myers has 25 combined tackles (12 solo), six tackles for loss and 15 quarterback hits this season.<\/p>\n

The good news for the Broncos is that both players practiced on Wednesday. The team announced its first injury report heading into the Bills game, and Greenlaw and Franklin-Myers were both able to take part in Wednesday\u2019s practice.<\/p>\n

Greenlaw was a limited participant, while Franklin-Myers practiced in full. Both players, however, are expected to suit up<\/a> on Saturday against the Bills.<\/p>\n

This is a significant development for the Broncos\u2019 defensive line. They will have their hands full against Allen, the reigning NFL<\/a> MVP.<\/p>\n

The Broncos will host Saturday\u2019s divisional round contest, with kickoff from Empower Field at Mile High scheduled for 4:30 p.m. ET.<\/p>\n
