I told [the] guys, ‘Get ready to embrace the mentality of doing more than what your job’s required.’ We got to get ready to fight deep water. This ain’t a test. When you look [at the] matchups, the games we have for next year, it’s another tough year.”

Tight end Tucker Kraft had reconstructive surgery on his knee. He said he wants to be ready for Week 1.

“A lot of physical therapy, I was told before the surgery, and something that Micah’s going through right now,” said Kraft. “It is very painful. I don’t wish it upon anyone. Moving forward, I do feel like as a tight end, I am the full package and I can be anything for this team. I’m really excited for next year.”

The loss of defensive lineman Devonte Wyatt to an ankle injury certainly compromised both the Packers’ pass rush and run defense. Wyatt noted he wants to be ready for the start of training camp.

“I feel like I got a lot more in the tank than what I put out there this year, or the past three years,” said Wyatt. “I know I have a lot more. I feel like this injury right here really is going to help me get above that hump, just showing you all what I have.”

The Packers are also bracing for the possible departure of defensive coordinator Jeff Hafley. He’s interviewing for several head-coaching jobs.

“I got a ton of respect for him,” said Packers safety Xavier McKinney. “My thing is always, if there is a position, obviously I wouldn’t want him to leave, but if there is a position where it can be better for him and his family, then I’m behind him.”

GREEN BAY, Wis. — With the Green Bay Packers’ season over, the attention now shifts to the offseason. …

[2072
1615,1613,15638,7,41,345,2514,2513,88,6,428,9,1004,991
0":"post-676390","1":"post","2":"type-post","3":"status-publish","4":"format-standard","5":"has-post-thumbnail","7":"category-green-bay-packers","8":"tag-app-sports","9":"tag-app-top-stories","10":"tag-dennis-krause","11":"tag-football","12":"tag-green-bay","13":"tag-green-bay-packers","14":"tag-greenbay","15":"tag-greenbaypackers","16":"tag-news","17":"tag-nfl","18":"tag-packers","19":"tag-sports","20":"tag-top-stories","21":"tag-wisconsin
["GET
