Short of that kind of stunner, what else is left that could happen during this unprecedented NFL coaching carousel to make things crazier than already is the case now that Mike Tomlin and John Harbaugh have gone from battling each other for the 40th time in a Steelers-Ravens game to both out of work in a matter of just nine days<\/a>?<\/p>\n

With Tomlin\u2019s resignation from the Steelers<\/a> on Tuesday, four of the 17 all-time winningest coaches are involved one way or another in this coaching cycle. In addition to Tomlin (193 wins, 10th), Harbaugh (180, 14th) and Pete Carroll (173, T-16th) were fired, and Mike McCarthy (174, 15th) is looking for his third job after taking a one-year hiatus.<\/p>\n

That\u2019s nearly 25 percent of the 17 winningest coaches of all time.
