Indianapolis Colts’<\/a> defensive end Kwity Paye is set to be a free agent this upcoming offseason.<\/p>\n

So what might his next contract look like, and how much could he earn on a new deal?<\/p>\n

According to Spotrac<\/a>, Paye’s free agent contract could look something like three years, $53.28 million. That’s an average annual value of $17.8 million per year.<\/p>\n

For the Colts<\/a>, GM Chris Ballard should look elsewhere for defensive end help.<\/p>\n

This is a position group that has to be reshaped this offseason. For one, along with Paye, Samson Ebukam, and Tyquan Lewis are also free agents. But in addition to that, “more fuel,”<\/a> as Ballard put it, is needed from the defensive front.<\/p>\n

As a collective unit, the Colts ranked 30th in ESPN’s<\/a> pass rush win rate.<\/p>\n

Paye, individually, would record 38 pressures and four sacks.
