When long-time Green Bay Packers quarterbacks coach Tom Clements (2006-2016, 2022-2024) retired after last season, head coach Matt LaFleur filled the vacancy by hiring Sean Mannion to the role. Mannion, who left Oregon State as a third-round pick and was the Beavers\u2019 all-time passing leader, had previously played for LaFleur in 2017, LaFleur\u2019s one season as the Los Angeles Rams\u2019 offensive coordinator.<\/p>\n
Mannion stuck around the league until 2023, and he was hired as a Packers offensive assistant for the 2024 season, his first year coaching. This year, he moved up to being an on-field coach for the first time in his career.<\/p>\n
