Bears fans are going all out to show their love and support for the team during the playoffs, and some are doing so in permanent ways. <\/p>\n

Local tattoo shops are reporting numerous Bears fans getting inked ahead of Sunday\u2019s game against the Rams.<\/p>\n

Matt Simon is one of those fans, describing himself as a “ride-or-die fan” of the Chicago Bears. He was among several people who got a Bears tattoo at Gold Street Tattoo in Wonder Lake<\/a> on Thursday afternoon.<\/p>\n

\u201cThe season has just been unreal to see what we\u2019ve overcome in the last few years,\u201d he said. \u201cWe\u2019re doing the Chicago dog it says \u2018Da Bears\u2019 in the mustard. That\u2019s one of my favorite foods.\u201d<\/p>\n

The love for the Bears spans generations.<\/p>\n

\u201cAlways have loved them, always will be a Bears fan. Sometimes they let you down, sometimes they don\u2019t,\u201d said tattoo artist Opie Tamisin.<\/p>\n

Tamisin is inking his dad, who was at the Bears-Rams last playoff game in the 1986 NFC Championship Game. <\/p>\n

\u201cI still remember it started snowing at the very end,\u201d said Hector Tamisin, \u201cWhen we got the fumble and ran it in that was pretty cool.\u201d<\/p>\n

Gold Street was buzzing with excitement for the Bears. The owner told NBC Chicago they\u2019ve had more than 20 people come in recently to get Bears-related tattoos.<\/p>\n

\u201cI\u2019m just happy that I can help people get what they want representing the city,\u201d said Keith Schubert, Gold Street Tattoo Owner and Artist<\/a>. \u201cIt\u2019s good for the community.\u201d<\/p>\n

Other artists said it\u2019s great to see the support.<\/p>\n

\u201cIt\u2019s so cool, any Chicago team, any home team that\u2019s doing well, you know it sparks some love because Chicago is home,\u201d said Alex Miskow, Gold Street Tattoo Partner and Artist.<\/p>\n

Before the start of the season, one Bears superfan got the team\u2019s logo tattooed on his head at the shop. His picture was recently shared and went viral on Facebook.<\/p>\n

\u201cEverybody thought it was AI because it was so good when I first got it done,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n

Lamb said his wife approves of the tattoo, which took about three and a half hours.<\/p>\n

\u201cShe gets how much passion I have for this team and how much I love Chicago,\u201d he said. \u201cIt\u2019s a Bears thing and a Chicago thing anywhere I go in the world\u2014people know who this is.\u201d<\/p>\n

As the Bears make their run in the playoffs, Lamb never expected a winning season like this.<\/p>\n

\u201cI feel like this is a good luck charm,\u201d he said. \u201cThis year in my opinion I think they\u2019re going to make it to the Super Bowl and win the Super Bowl.\u201d<\/p>\n
