When the Tennessee Titans<\/a> signed wide receiver Xavier Restrepo as an undrafted rookie free agent, it immediately generated buzz on social media. Many fans expected the chemistry between Cam Ward and Restrepo to translate to NFL production.\u00a0<\/p>\n Unfortunately, for Restrepo, the season didn\u2019t go as he would have liked after going undrafted due to a lack of measurables. Restrepo spent 2025 on the Titans\u2019 practice squad, being elevated for two games and recording three catches for 41 yards before injuring his ankle against the Jacksonville Jaguars.\u00a0<\/p>\n Jim Wyatt spoke with the fan-favorite at the end of the season, and the young wide receiver opened up about his journey<\/a>.\u00a0<\/p>\n “It was very humbling,” he said. “But I think I learned so much through it, as far as being a pro each and every day, growing in my faith, and being ready when your time is called. And, for the most part, I think every time I stepped in the game, I was productive. I feel I took advantage of my opportunities, and that is what the NFL is about.”<\/p>\n Restrepo did take advantage of his opportunity, and he looked more like the All-American wide receiver than the pedestrian wideout his pre-draft testing showed. In his limited playing time, he flashed and outplayed a couple of the veteran options added to the injury-depleted roster.\u00a0<\/p>\n
