The Indianapolis Colts<\/a> will have an up-close look at many of the NFL draft prospects participating in the East-West Shrine Bowl.<\/p>\n

This annual event is a college All-Star game with top prospects from the upcoming NFL draft participating.<\/p>\n

One of the coaches for this game and during the week of practices will be Isabel Diaz as the special teams coordinator of the East team.<\/p>\n

The 2025 season was Diaz’s third with the Colts<\/a>. According to the Colts team site<\/a>, Diaz, a Harriet P. Irsay Fellow, “assists Special Teams Coordinator Brian Mason and Sr. Assistant Special Teams Coach Joe Hastings with practice and game planning.”<\/p>\n

The Colts’ special teams unit ranked 11th in the NFL last season by PFF’s metrics<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Some good news for the Colts when it comes to this year’s Shrine Bowl and the NFL draft in general is that there is a lot of talent along the defensive line<\/a> — a position group that should be on GM Chris Ballard’s radar.<\/p>\n
