It was a move that needed to be done, but Harbaugh remains a great head coach. After being the most highly sought-after candidate of this cycle, Harbaugh inked a deal with the New York Giants to become their next head coach.

While the Ravens are worried about finding their next head coach, having 15 candidates up to this point, they may have to start worrying about their pending free agents. Their next coach will not only look to bring in almost an entirely new coaching staff, but also new philosophies on the offensive and defensive sides.

Ultimately, some of those free agents may no longer have a role in Baltimore, but with Harbaugh landing in New York, they may depart in favor of the Big Apple. Here are three players the Ravens could lose out on to Harbaugh’s Giants.

3 Ravens free agents who could follow John Harbaugh to the GiantsTylan Wallace

For most of his NFL career, Tylan Wallace has been a rotational option at wide receiver. Under Harbaugh, he also played a significant role on special teams, both as a returner and coverage guy. He’s provided some big plays and is a great veteran to have as depth.

Wallace saw his role decrease in 2025, but he remains a glue guy on special teams. He clearly has a home in Harbaugh’s system, and with the Giants needing wide receiver depth, Wallace should have no problem finding a new job in 2026.

Patrick Ricard

Fullback Patrick Ricard is a fan favorite in Charm City. Over his nine-year career, he’s earned six Pro Bowl nods and three All-Pro honors. It’d be tough to see him go, but it’s looking like a strong possibility.

The fullback is a dying position, and there’s no promise that Baltimore’s next head coach will use a fullback as much as Harbaugh has. With not only Harbaugh, but offensive coordinator Todd Monken also expected to land in New York, the pieces are falling into place for Ricard to follow suit.

The Ravens front office should try to keep Ricard around, but it’s no longer a guarantee that he signs an extension.

Isaiah Likely

After signing franchise tight end Mark Andrews to an extension late in the year, Baltimore may no longer have the cap flexibility to offer backup tight end Isaiah Likely a new deal. He’s undoubtedly a dangerous mismatch with his athleticism, but with Andrews inked to a three-year, $39.3 million contract, Likely’s future may reside elsewhere.

Harbaugh’s Giants don’t have an official answer at tight end, yet, making them a prime landing spot for Likely. They’ll be looking to get more weapons around quarterback Jaxson Dart, and Likely could be the perfect security blanket and big-play threat.

Yes, many Ravens fans want to retain Likely. However, with so many other needs and already a ton of money being wrapped into the tight end spot, it’s looking like the Coastal Carolina product will be heading out the door.

The Baltimore Ravens fired their 18-year head coach, John Harbaugh, just two days after their season ended.
