Good morning, Broncos Country!<\/p>\n

The Denver Broncos get the biggest win in a decade.<\/p>\n

Then, about an hour later, the elation and joy were replaced by utter despondency. That\u2019s when the news came that Broncos quarterback Bo Nix broke his ankle<\/a> and is out for the rest of the season.<\/p>\n

I still don\u2019t know how to fully comprehend what the heck happened. And I\u2019m not even talking about the 33-30 overtime win over Josh Allen and the Buffalo Bills.<\/p>\n

What the heck just happened?<\/p>\n

Now the Broncos have to rally around Jarret Stidham, who steps in as Denver\u2019s starting quarterback for the rest of the season. And I have no doubt this Denver team will do just that. It\u2019s just effing brutal. And a brutal injury.<\/p>\n

This doesn\u2019t take away from how amazing this victory was for the Broncos. It was one of the best wins in franchise history. No matter what, this Denver team is never out of it. The Broncos just find a way.<\/p>\n

Now they have to channel that with the Nix news. If any team is capable of winning without its starter, it\u2019s the Broncos. And there are teams that won with a backup quarterback, see the Philadelphia Eagles and Nick Foles.<\/p>\n

The other factor to keep in mind is that while Stidham hasn\u2019t thrown a pass in two years, there\u2019s also no knowledge of him in this offense and what Sean Payton could have in store for his new QB.
