Former New York Giants<\/a> head coach Brian Daboll is scheduled to interview for the Los Angeles Chargers<\/a>‘ offensive coordinator position, reports NFL Network insiders Tom Pelissero and Ian Rapoport.<\/p>\n

Daboll, 50, was fired by the Giants in November after a 2-8 start marked the team’s third consecutive disappointing season under his leadership.<\/p>\n

His tenure ended with a 21-41-1 regular-season record and one playoff victory, a sharp decline after earning AP Coach of the Year honors in 2022 for guiding the Giants to a 9-7-1 record and their first postseason berth since 2016.<\/p>\n

The Chargers’ opportunity adds to Daboll’s busy offseason. He interviewed on Friday for the Tennessee Titans’ head coaching vacancy and is reportedly the top candidate for the Philadelphia Eagles’ offensive coordinator role, where he has prior connections to head coach Nick Sirianni.<\/p>\n

Known for his successful four-year stint as Buffalo Bills offensive coordinator, during which he helped develop quarterback Josh Allen, Daboll remains a highly regarded play-caller despite his recent struggles in New York.<\/p>\n
