Of the Jacksonville Jaguars’<\/a> pending free agents this offseason, which player should the team prioritize re-signing?<\/p>\n

If you ask Bradley Locker of Pro Football Focus<\/a>, it’s a pretty easy answer — linebacker Devin Lloyd.<\/p>\n

“Lloyd slotted in the top 10 at the position in both PFF run-defense and coverage grades, and he tied for fifth in PFF WAR,” Locker wrote.<\/p>\n

Lloyd did a bit of everything for the Jacksonville defense under Anthony Campanile. He totaled 25 pressures as a blitzer during the regular season and ranked 11th among linebackers in\u00a0PFF’s run defense grade.<\/a><\/p>\n

In coverage, he recorded five interceptions and two pass breakups.<\/p>\n

Jaguars<\/a>‘ GM James Gladstone recently addressed Lloyd’s future<\/a> with the team.<\/p>\n

Without Lloyd, the Jaguars still have Jack Kiser, Jalen McLeod, Ventrell Miller, and others under contract to play alongside Foye Oluokun, but replacing a second-team All-Pro presence is no easy task.<\/p>\n
