Why?&#8221; <\/p>\n<p class=\"MuiTypography-root MuiTypography-bp_small__body__article__medium css-1vqr2el\">The Bills <a class=\"MuiTypography-root MuiTypography-inherit MuiLink-root MuiLink-underlineAlways MuiTypography-root MuiTypography-bp_small__ui__link__medium_strong css-lu48cp\" href=\"https:\/\/bleacherreport.com\/articles\/25155057-sean-mcdermott-fired-bills-who-are-top-replacements-help-josh-allen-super-bowl-run\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer nofollow\">fired<\/a> McDermott on Monday after Buffalo finished the season 12-5 with a divisional round exit. He coached the team for nine seasons, amassing a record of 98-50. <\/p>\n<p class=\"MuiTypography-root MuiTypography-bp_small__body__article__medium css-1vqr2el\">According to Wolfe, the firing had much to do with McDermott&#8217;s lack of postseason success. He noted that &#8220;the Bills believe they have a team that was talented enough to win this year.&#8221; <\/p>\n<p class=\"MuiTypography-root MuiTypography-bp_small__body__article__medium css-1vqr2el\">The Bills reached the playoffs in all but one season with McDermott at the helm, making the AFC championship game twice.
