According to a report from NFL insider Tom Pelissero, the Kansas City Chiefs<\/a> have hired Chad O’Shea to serve as their new wide receivers coach.<\/p>\n

O’Shea is best known for his one-year stint as the Miami Dolphins<\/a>‘ offensive coordinator in 2019, but he most recently worked for the Cleveland Browns<\/a> as a wide receivers coach & passing game coordinator from 2020-2025.<\/p>\n

Between 2003 and 2005, O’Shea filled minor positions on the Chiefs’ coaching staff as a volunteer assistant and assistant special teams coach.<\/p>\n

Then, O’Shea went on to serve in various roles with the Minnesota Vikings<\/a> until he secured a position as the New England Patriots’ wide receivers coach \u2014 a role which he held from 2008 until 2018 under legendary head coach Bill Belichick.<\/p>\n

With O’Shea officially on his staff, Chiefs head coach Andy Reid will hope to field a more disciplined receiving corps in 2026 after Kansas City’s pass-catchers underperformed last season.<\/p>\n
