Patriots head coach Mike Vrabel had a message for wide receiver Kayshon Boutte upon entering the locker room following New England\u2019s 28-16 victory over the Houston Texans at Gillette Stadium on Sunday. <\/p>\n
\u201cIt was a great moment,\u201d Boutte told reporters<\/a> at Gillette Stadium on Monday when asked about the embrace, as shared by the team<\/a>.\u201d I think he told me he was proud of the way I was going. <\/p>\n \u201cI\u2019m thankful he believed in me when he came in,\u201d Boutte continued. \u201cThere was a lot of talks about where I would be, possibly traded and stuff like that. But, I mean, we\u2019re sitting here today. He believed, I believed. It\u2019s been great.\u201d<\/p>\n Boutte hauled in a 32-yard touchdown from quarterback Drake Maye early in the fourth quarter, which gave the Patriots a two-possession lead and thus put the game away.
