ENGLEWOOD, Colo. \u2014 A former Broncos wide receiver is returning to Denver’s roster.<\/p>\n
Denver signed wide receiver Brandon Johnson to their practice squad, the team announced Tuesday.<\/p>\n
The Broncos released center Michael Deiter from the practice squad in a corresponding move.<\/p>\n
Johnson appeared in 20 games for the Broncos from 2022-23, recording 25 catches for 326 yards and five touchdowns with Denver. In Head Coach Sean Payton’s first season in Denver, Johnson caught 19 passes for 284 yards and four scores.<\/p>\n
He last appeared in regular-season action for Pittsburgh in 2024, as he played in three games.
